Use this form if you’re ready to book an edit.

This is a fairly detailed form! I only need this information if you’re ready to book an edit because it’s everything I need to prepare the contract and invoice.

You don’t need to fill this whole form out if you’re still deciding whether to move forward with an edit. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have via the contact form instead (where I won’t ask for your life story, the plot of your novel, the name of your cats, etc.).

Before you complete this form, please make sure you are comfortable with the editing process.

Please be as specific as possible, such as “mid-November” or “returned edit by 5 April”. Where possible, mention any timelines associated with your edit, such as a booked copyeditor or your planned publication date.

If you haven’t finished writing, an estimate is perfectly fine. For example, “around 120,000 words” or “60,000–80,000 words”.

Please include your writing background, your novel’s genre, and a brief synopsis.
