Short stories and Kindle Vella serials

Short stories and Kindle Vella serials take more time to edit per word and require a different approach to longer pieces, which is why the pricing is a little different from my usual services.

For works below 30,000 words there will be a baseline charge of $50 plus $0.008 per word. For example, the cost for a short story 15,000 words would be $170 ($50 + 15,000x$0.008). You will receive one round of feedback and 10 minutes of follow-up questions as part of your edit.

These must be standalone stories or consecutive chapters from a series. In other words, you can’t give me two unrelated 5,000-word stories under a single edit, but you could give me the first three chapters from a series. This is because the editorial report is always tailored to the needs of your overall piece, and having two unassociated stories means you would not get cohesive feedback.
